As most of you already know, I love Tecmo Super Bowl. In my mind there is no game that has stood the test of time, nor had a following quite like Tecmo Super Bowl. Sure, some will argue for NBA Jam, RBI Baseball, NHL 94, (which I also own and love especially NBA Jam) as ultimate old school games.
Tecmo Super Bowl has a much bigger following see here, here, and here. Has a lot more innovative features, and after all these years is still fun and dynamic to play. There are no glitches that are unstoppable, the players can be updated, and even the teams have been expanded since the NFL has expanded.
Contrary to some peoples belief, there was more Tecmo Super Bowl games created, none with the following that Tecmo Super Bowl for the NES has gained. While I am not going to try and create a following that big, I am going to try and create a Super Nintendo League: The SNFL. It will be a dynasty league and feature Tecmo Super Bowl 3 and possibly still Tecmo Super Bowl 1 for the SNES. Follow the progress by clicking on the logo below:
